Tonight, Chennai Super Kings lost their 2nd match of the league tonight out of the 7 matches they have played till now at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

The excitement of this match was quite high as the last time Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings played against each other, Mumbai Indians won the match beating Chennai Super Kings, and that was the only defeat CSK team had faced before this match and now, yet again MI won their second match beating CSK.
Before the match started, Chennai Super Kings were asked to bat first as the toss was won by the skipper of Mumbai Indians who chose to bowl first.MI won the match by 8 wickets.
In the first innings, the CSK players gave a thrilling performance and gave the target of 169 runs in the first innings of the team.

Suresh Raina, the star player of CSK stole all the limelight with his performance by scoring 75 runs in 45 balls. He smashed 6 fours and 4 sixes.While on the other hand, MS Dhoni scored 26 runs in 21 balls.

Ambatti Rayudu gave another thrilling performance and scored 46 runs in 35 balls, hitting 2 fours and 4 sixes before he was sent back to pavilion by Krunal Pandya’s stunning deliver which ended up as a catch in the hands of Ben Cuttling.
The second innings was opened by Suryakumar Yadav who scored 44 runs in 34 balls, hitting 5 fours and 1 sixes before he was sent back to pavilion by Harbhajan Singh. And Evin Lewis who scored 47 runs in 43 balls.

The skipper of the team, Rohit Sharma aka Hit-man Sharma remained unbeaten at the score of 56 runs in 33 balls, he gave a thrilling performance by hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes. Hardik Pandya scored 13 runs in 8 balls.
