Tonight, the second qualifier round is going on between two equal teams at points table, Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals at the very famous Eden Gardens of Kolkata. The match is a very crucial one for both the teams as the winner will have to face, Sunrisers Hyderabad in third qualifiers.

Before the match started, the toss was won by Ajinkya Rahane, the skipper of Rajasthan Royals who chose to bowl first.
The first innings started off with a blow for Kolkata Knight Riders as their opener, Sunil Narine got dismissed after couple of balls. He scored 4 runs in 2 balls. Chris Lynn, on the other hand played a slow knock and scored 18 off 22 balls.

The skipper of the team, Dinesh Karthik scored 52 runs in 38 balls, he was dismissed after he was caught out by Ajinkya Rahane. With the strike rate of 136, DK smashed 4 fours and 2 sixes. Shubman Gill scored 28 runs off 17 balls he played.
Andre Russell played an absolute wonderful innings and took the scores up with a storm. He remained unbeaten at the score of 49 runs that he made in 28 balls. With the powerful strike rate of 196, he smashed 3 fours and 5 sixes.

The bowlers of Rajasthan Royals played well and tried their best to stop the players from scoring a huge total but Andre Russell’s powerful knock stretched the scores to 169 runs.
