Twitterati Are Trolling RCB After IPL 2020 Got Suspended Again

The sporting arena around the world has come to a halt, people from all around the world are maintaining self-isolation and are asked to stay inside their houses, in order to stop the outspread of the dangerous Cornavirus disease, which has shaken up the whole humans.

Many events and tournaments around the world were suspended, or canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic. IPL 2020, the much-awaited tournament, that was slated to kickstart from 29 March was suspended till April 14. However, as the country is still under the lockdown, the suspension has been extended till further notice.

BCCI also released a statement, where they wrote that country first come. The statement read:

“The health and safety of the nation and everyone involved in our great sport remains our top priority and as such, the BCCI along with the Franchise Owners, Broadcaster, Sponsors and all the Stakeholders acknowledge that the IPL 2020 season will only commence when it is safe and appropriate to do so,”

As soon as the official announcement came in, social media was already flooded with their reactions to the tweets. While the fans were obviously very sad about the suspension of IPL 2020 because of Coronavirus pandemic, however, there were many who tried to find funny even in this situation.

Well, for the unversed, Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Bangalore is yet to bring their first IPL trophy. It has been 13 years, since the Indian Premier League kickstarted, however, the men in Red are yet to get their hands on the prestigious trophy. And for the same reason, RCB is getting trolled on social media.
