Another match, another horror show. New Zealanders seem to have gotten the key to Virat’s performances. After not being able to make it big in the first Test match, Virat Kohli wasn’t able to deliver the best of his abilities in the second and must-win match for the Indian Cricket team. It was yet another failure of Virat Kohli in the ongoing tour with Virat falling on Tim Southee’s delivery at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. After the lunch break, Tim Southee dismissed Virat in the first ball itself. Virat was caught plumb in front of the wicket. This time it was a full delivery from Tim Southee and Virat missed the drive and was got hit on his pads. Tim Southee and rest appealed and Virat had to walk back to the pavilion. But before that Virat wasted the only available review. For your information, Virat has now used the DRS on 13 occasions in Tests and has been successful in only two of them. With this, Tim Southee became the first bowler to dismiss Virat Kohli on 10 occasions across all the three formats of the game in international cricket. In the last 5 international innings played by Virat Kohli, he has amassed 3, 19, 2, 9, 15 respectively. Talking about the ongoing tour to New Zealand, so far, Virat has scored 45, 11, 38, 11 in the four T20Is he played, 51, 15, 9 in three ODI matches, and 2, 19, 3 in Tests so far. Which equates to 204 runs in 10 innings he has played so far., including a fifty. His poor form has become a matter of great concern for the team. Social media is filled with reactions on another flop show of Virat Kohli. Fans are trolling Virat Kohli for his performances. Here, check out the reactions of Twitterati on Virat Kohli’s performance:
