Last night, the match was won by the hosts, Sunrisers Hyderabad beating Royal Challengers by runs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium of Hyderabad. The nail biting climax of the match made the match a thrilling one.
The Orange Army earned their seventh match of the league out of the nine matches they have played till now. Sunrisers are leading the table charts.
Last night, the match was all about bowling and fielding. Both the teams did exceptional bowling and tried their best to win the match. In the first innings it was Mumbai Indians bowlers, who did a great job by not letting Sunrisers score a huge total.
Tim Southee and Mohammad Siraj, the pace bowlers of Royal Challengers did exceptional bowling and made the batsmen of Sunrisers run for money by taking three wickets each.
In the second innings, players including Rashid Khan, Shakib Al Hasan, Siddharth Kaul and Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered death bowling and proved that they can defend any low score like a true champion by their bowling.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar stunned everyone with his bowling and fielding today. He made full use of his reverse swing to stifle the chase of RCB. It was his death bowling at the final overs which saved the day for Sunrisers Hyderabad team.
Royal Challengers were in need of 12 runs in the final overs but Bhuvneshwar’s exceptional bowling saved 5 runs from them.
