Twitterati Can’t Stop Praising David Warner After His Brilliant Triple Hundred

On Saturday, during the ongoing second Test against Pakistan at the Adelaide Oval, David Warner smashed his maiden triple hundred in Test cricket.

Before David Warner, the triple hundred for hundred came from the bat of the former captain Michael Clarke, who smashed hit 329* vs India in January 2012. David Warner was the first triple hundred for Australia since then.

Warner’s triple hundred was also the first from a left-handed batsman after Kumar Sangakkara’s 319 vs Bangladesh in February 2014. It was also the first triple hundred, in all matches in Tests, after Karun Nair’s 303* vs England in the year 2016.

David Warner’s score is now the highest individual score at the Adelaide Oval. He shattered the record of David Warner, who scored 299 in the Adelaide Oval.

Apart from all this, David Warner’s triple hundred was the 4th fastest triple hundred ever in the history of Test cricket. Virender Sehwag, former Indian cricketer is still the fastest to achieve this milestone. He took only 278 balls to achieve Triple hundred vs South Africa in Chennai in 2007-08.
