What a great day it was Deepak Chahar yesterday at Nagpur as he showed what he is capable of doing for the team. Braking a few records, Deepak was exceptional with his variations as he delivered his career’s best figures of 6/7 in the final T20I to help India seal the series.

Deepak started off brilliantly by knocking out Liton Das when Washington Sundar held an amazing catch in the deep, which was followed by the dismiss of Soumya Sarkar soon. Then he was again seen in some great action when Rohit Sharma gave him a breakthrough in the middle overs. He removed Mohammad Mithun in the middle overs.

The brilliance was continued in the death overs as well as he straightaway knocked out the tail-enders of Bangladesh to bag his first-ever five wickets haul in the shortest format of the game.

Deepak made sure to conclude the game by making it memorable as he delivered a beautiful yorker. It also includes a blistering hat-trick.

Social media was flooded with tweets and posts appreciating the Indian cricketer. From cricketers to fans, people just can’t stop praising the cricketer for his career-best performance.

Here, have a look at the reactions of twitterati on Deepak Chahar’s performance:

Exceptional bowling by @deepak_chahar9!
He bowled very smartly and used his variations well to pick up crucial wickets at crucial stages.
Special mention to @IamShivamDube, @ShreyasIyer15 & @klrahul11 to give #TeamIndia the series victory in the decider. #INDvsBAN pic.twitter.com/JTLgrC1dUz

— Harbhajan Turbanator (@harbhajan_singh) November 10, 2019

In the end, it looked like an easy victory for India but Bangladesh did scare us! Many positives from this #INDvBAN match. #ShreyasIyer most important. @ImRo45 captaincy was spot on too. With an inexperienced attack, he handled his resources admirably.

Special word of praise for Deepak Chahar! Taking hatrick in any format is a big thing but a Six in the innings by ball is incredible. #chahar

— R P Singh रुद्र प्रताप सिंह (@rpsingh) November 10, 2019

A CSK bowler taking hattrick, an MI fan jumping in joy, a KXIP fan praying, an RCB fan congratulating, a KKR fan distributing sweets, a DC fan wiping tears of happiness, a SRH fan hugging another CSK fan, but no RR fan to witness it all.

— Silly Point (@FarziCricketer) November 10, 2019

Even when India’s top bowlers are back, it will be difficult to keep Deepak Chahar out of the XI. He can now be relied on at every stage in a T20 game

— Sambit Bal (@sambitbal) November 10, 2019

It’s all started here… Whatte Talent… Deepak Chahar ?? pic.twitter.com/cZSs6YzsHw

— DeaDshot (@DeaDu_) November 10, 2019

Deepak Chahar can be wayward but almost unplayable when he’s in his element. Have seen him enough in the domestic circuit. 6/7 in a T20I is a brilliant effort. Best ever figures for a bowler in T20Is #INDvsBAN

ODIs: Chetan Sharma, Kapil Dev, Kuldeep Yadav & Mohammed Shami

Mohammad Naim makes 81 out of the team’s 144. A fine innings, and one that should inspire him to do better. Hopefully, he doesn’t get bogged down by the instant fame and attention in Bangladesh.
