Having smashed three centuries including a double ton in the recently-concluded Test series against South Africa, Rohit Sharma has once again created magic with his bat tonight and the cherry on the top of the cake was the fact that Rohit Sharma was playing his 100th T20I game.
There’s no denying the fact that he made his 100th T20I game a memorable one. The Indian opener became the first male cricketer to score 2,500 T20I runs in his 100th T20I. He has also surpassed Suresh Raina in the list of most T20 runs scored by an Indian.
It was a HITMAN show in Rajkot as #TeamIndia win by 8 wickets in the 2nd T20I and level the three match series 1-1.#INDvBAN pic.twitter.com/iKqnflKpFp

Chasing a target of 154 runs, Rohit Sharma came out and took Bangladesh’s bowlers to the cleaners. Playing a powerful knock of 85 runs off 43 balls, he smashed 6 fours and 6 sixes.
Along with his co-partner Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma added 118 runs for the opening wicket and both of them smashed the Bangladeshi bowlers to all the corners of the ground.
Here, have a look at the reactions of twitterati on this:
When I was growing up, Salim Durani was Mr Sixer in Indian cricket. Today, to a much larger degree, across any format, it is clearly Rohit Sharma. Amazing strike power!

When Rohit bats in full flow, he can compose a song with his bat.

I have mastered the art of watching cricket on mute and imagining commentary done by my favourite commentators. Just now it’s Tony Greg for Rohit Sharma’s shots 🙂 Uff . What would be your choice ? #Imagine

Got to admire #RohitSharma‘s ability as captain to stay calm and back his players during phases when his team his struggling. He’s done it numerous times during the IPL too. A trait that helps teams under him make a comeback in a game when all seems lost. #IndvsBan

Rohit Sharma’s 79* is now the highest score by an Indian batsman after first 10 overs in a T20I. Previous highest was 73* also by Rohit vs Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017.#INDvSL
