What a brilliant performance by Mumbai Indians as they won their first match of the ongoing IPL 2021 campaign. Rohit Sharma proved why he is hailed as one of the best T20 captains as he pulled things back out of nowhere in the last 6 overs. Chasing a target of 153 runs, KKR got off to a good start with Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana starting the game with a 72-run stand before Gill departed. Rana tried his best to dictate the chase as wickets kept falling at the other end. However, as soon as Rana was dismissed, their batting line-up collapsed. The reputed finishers came short against Mumbai’s talented bowlers and eventually, KKR threw the game.
