Twitterati Can’t Stop Praising Team India After Their Thumping Victory Against Bangladesh

The Indian cricket team continued with their winning streak as they defeated Bangladesh in the ICC Test Championship by an innings and 130 runs in Indore. The result of the match was not difficult to guess as the Indian cricketers piled up more than 400 runs on the second day with Mayank Agarwal smashing a spectacular double century.

The Bangladeshi Tigers couldn’t handle the heat from the Indian speedsters again in the second innings and were skittled for 213 runs. The Indian cricket team declared their first innings on 493/6, which were their overnight scores. While Umesh Yadav enjoyed his 10-ball stint to score 25 runs, on the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten at 60.

It didn’t take too much time for the hosts to spell their magic with the new ball. Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav, both of them were brilliant as they sent back Bangladeshi openers Imrul Kayes and Shadman Islam respectively. The skipper of Bangladesh’s team, Mominul Haque and Mohammad Mithun were sent back by Mohammad Shami.

Mahmudullah and Mushfiqur Rahim, the duo defied India a wicket for close to an hour. But Mahmudullah edged Mohammad Shami’s delivery to slips where Rohit Sharma was standing. Liton Das and Mehidy Hasan also contributed to the scorecard by crossing 30s.

Moments after India won the match, Twitter was flooded with reactions from cricket fans and pundits on the match.

Here, check out the reactions of twitterati on this:

An innings win! @imVkohli breaks another record as captain! Most innings wins as Test captain is a great achievement. What a fantastic team effort by #TeamIndia. #INDvBAN

Another strong performance by @BCCI #INDvBAN No runs from Kohli or Rohit yet very powerful… Congratulations ???

It is no longer a surprise that @MdShami11 bowls outstandingly in second innings, more so in Indian conditions. What is surprising to me is that a Test match finish inside 3 day and spinners are not able to take a total of five wicket! #Shami #INDvBAN pic.twitter.com/y6By14K6Ht

Delightful interview of India’s pacers at the the end of #INDvBAN.

“They don’t treat me like a senior at all” – a smiling Ishant Sharma with Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav.

His only concession to ‘seniority’ is: “The body’s feeling a little old after bowling so many overs.”

Ishant: “Beat kar karke hum pareshaan ho gaye, Shami hi bata-de woh paanch wicket kaise lete hain…”

Shami gives a diplomatic answer.
