Before the game started, England skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and opted to bat against the Australian cricket team. The England cricket team started with a poor start with Mitchell Starc accounting for the wickets of Jason Roy and Joe Root off the first two deliveries. Starc caught Roy at backward point by Glenn Maxwell off the first delivery and trapped Joe Root plump with a swinging delivery that led to his dismissal.
The England Cricket Board (ECB) took to their social media and shared the video of Joe Root’s dismissal via their official Twitter handle.

The fans are all praises for Mitchell Starc for his brilliant performance. Here, check out some of the reactions of twitterati on this:

Meanwhile, the middle and lower order have contributed handy and will require the same this time around the series finale. While Jonny Bairstow and captain Eoin Morgan are going at a good rate, the home side will need to score more than 275 runs to challenge the Aussies.
Following the ongoing ODIs, a lot of the IPL bound stars of England and Australian cricket team will land in Dubai on September 17th for the upcoming edition of the game in the UAE, which will kickstart on September 19th.
