It was just a few days ago when T Natarajan had shared a picture of himself flaunting his Test jersey ahead of a ‘possible’ test debut in the Sydney Cricket Ground encounter, however, during all these days, he lived the time of his lifetime. And to add a cherry on top of the cake, today, Ajinkya Rahane gave him the prestigious Border-Gavaskar trophy in his hands.
Team India created history at the Gabba, on Tuesday by exhilarating a three-wicket win over Australia in the fourth and the final Test match to claim the series 2-1 and retain the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba.

Riding on the performances of Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, and Cheteshwar Pujara on Day 5 of the fourth and final test match, Team India ended the unbeaten streak of 32-years of the Australians at the Gabba.
After team India won the match, the stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane handed over the trophy to T Natarajan, who was then joined by the rest of the Indian cricket team as they together celebrated India’s historic win with the TROPHY.
Not just this, Ajinkya Rahane also presented a signed jersey to Australia’s spinner Nathan Lyon, who played in his 100th Test match in Brisbane. The jersey was presented as a gesture of respect for off-spinner.
Meanwhile, fans on social media are all praises for the stand-in skipper’s heart-winning gestures after the match. From cricketers, experts to fans, everyone is lauding Rahane’s kind-hearted gestures as a skipper towards T Natarajan and Nathan Lyon.

Appreciation for Rahane the captain
He was handed over the captaincy after that disaster of 36 all out but managed to collect the team and Indian team came back with a win
