On Thursday, India announced their T20I and ODI squad for the upcoming series against West Indies and in a surprising decision Sanju Samson, the wicket-keeper batsman was dropped from the squad.

Sanju Samson made a comeback in the squad for the Bangladesh T20I series after he gave some spectacular performances in domestic cricket this year. However, he wasn’t given a chance to perform in the series as Rishabh Pant was given preference over him.
Despite Rishabh Pant receiving criticism over his wicket-keeping and not delivering too many runs with the bat, he has been getting opportunities. Once again, Pant was preferred over Sanju Samson for the series against West Indies.
