The Indian cricket team is currently locking their horns with the Australians on Day 2 of the ongoing third Test match at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Indian sensational bowler Jasprit Bumrah dismissed the skipper of the Australian cricket team with a stunning delivery on Day 2 of the ongoing third Test match.
After resuming the day on 166 runs for 2, the Australians were reeling at 249 for 5 when Tim Paine joined Steve Smith in the middle. Australia had already lost three wickets in quick successions in the morning when Tim walked in, with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders.
Ravindra Jadeja gave the breakthrough to the Indian cricket team by getting rid of Marnus Labuschagne for 91 runs. It was a much-needed breakthrough as it ended the 100-run stand between Labuschagne and Smith. Following Marnus’ dismissal, Matthew Wade also didn’t last long either as he too fell to Ravindra Jadeja for 13 runs.
The next victim turned out to be Cameron Green. He was sent back to the pavilion by Jasprit Bumrah for a 21-ball duck. Bumrah then capitalized on the new ball and sent Tim Paine back to the pavilion for just 1 run. Jasprit set up a fine trap for Paine as after bowling 3 consecutive deliveries outside the off stump, Bumrah left everyone stunned when he brought one in to take the bails off.
The Australian skipper was expecting an outgoing delivery and this might be the reason why his feet were nowhere near the line of the ball. The ball managed to find the gap between the pad and the bat before hitting the top of the stumps.
