Big Day for T Natarajan: After losing the first two ODIs at the SCG, Virat Kohli and the company would be looking to salvage some pride in the ongoing third ODI match in Canberra.

Ahead of the third ODI match today at the Manuka Oval in Canberra, team India made a few changes to their playing XI. The Men in Blue roped in Shubman Gill, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, and T Natarajan. Among them, T Natarajan will be making his ODI debut for India.

T Natarajan was initially named after Varun Chakraborty got injured and was ruled out of the series. He has now been placed in the playing XI of a misfiring Navdeep Saini, who complained of back spam prior to the opening ODI. T Natarajan made a name for himself with his phenomenal performance for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the just-concluded edition of the Indian Premier League.

The official Twitter handle of the BCCI shared a video of T Natarajan receiving his maiden ODI cap. In the video, the Indian skipper Virat was seen handing over the cap to the young talent of the team. Sharing the video, BCCI wrote:

“A massive day for @Natarajan_91 today as he makes his #TeamIndia debut. He becomes the proud owner of 232. Go out and give your best, champ! #AUSvIND,”
