Chennai Super Kings won the match tonight beating Rajasthan Royals brutally by 64 runs. With this match, the team won it’s fourth match of the tournament.
Before the match begin, Ajinkya Rahane the skipper of Rajasthan Royals won the toss and opted to bowl first. Chennai gave the target of 204 runs to Rajasthan Royals.
MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings began with the match with the power packed innings by the opener of the team, Shane Watson.
Shane Watson on a rocket mode tonight in the ongoing match. He had set the ground on fire with his exceptional batting skills tonight. Shane Watson scored 106 runs and that too in 57 balls. With the strike rate of 196,Watson smashed some thrilling shots tonight with 6 sixes and 9 fours till now.
Apart from him the other opener, Ambatti Rayudu scored 12 runs in 8 balls. MS Dhoni, the skipper of the team wasn’t able to score match, he scored only 5 runs.
Suresh Raina made a comeback with this match after his calf-injury. He gave a power-packed performance by scoring 46 runs in 29 balls. With the strike rate of 158, he smashed 9 fours.
K.Gowtham of RR gave a wonderful play as the fielder. He sent two major players back to pavilion. Suresh Raina and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the two star performers of CSK were dismissed by K.Gowtham.
In the second innings, the skipper of the team, Ajinkya Rahane scored 16 runs in 11 balls. Today, it was Ben Stokes, who gave a thrilling performance by hitting 45 runs in 37 balls, including 3 fours and 1 sixes.
In this innings the bowlers of CSK, gave their best to stop the other team from scoring runs.
