The ongoing match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab is proving to be one interesting match. KKR is hosting today’s match against KXIP in the very famous Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Before the match started, KXIP won the toss and decided to bowl first. KKR gave the target of 191 runs to the players of KXIP.
In the first innings, KXIP began the match with a shaky start as their star performer, Sunil Narine was sent back to pavilion after scoring only 1 run. However, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa and the skipper of the team Dinesh Karthik, balanced the match and played great innings.
Chriss Lynn played an aggressive yet a brilliant innings and scored 74 runs in 41 balls, including 6 fours and 4 sixes. With a strike rat eo f180 he gave one thrilling performance. On the other hand, Robin Uthappa too supported Chris Lynn and scored 34 runs in 23 balls.
The captain of the team, Dinesh Karthik scored 43 runs in 28 balls including 6 fours. While the other star players of the team like Andre Russell, Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill all contributed and made the total to 191 runs in 20 overs.
KXIP are playing their innings and after the great performances in the previous matches, fans are expecting a lot from the Punjab team.
