Rohit Sharma once again proved that he is one of the most destructive batsmen in limited overs cricket. In the last 4 years or so, Rohit Sharma has taken his game to a new level altogether and established himself as, arguably, the best opening batsman in ODI and T20I cricket.

In the second T20I between India and Sri Lanka, leading the side, Rohit Sharma played one of the best innings of his T20 career. In fact, we can call it his best T20 innings so far.

Batting first, India got off to the best possible start as both the openers- Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul batted very aggressively and made Sri Lanka’s bowling attack look ordinary on a good batting wicket.

Rohit Sharma scored 118 runs off just 43 balls and equalled David Miller’s record of scoring the fastest hundred in T20I cricket (off 35 balls).

Rohit smashed 10 massive sixes and 12 boundaries in his record breaking innings.

As Rohit Sharma went berserk, Twitterati kept the moment up and flooded the platform with tweets praising Rohit Sharma. Check out some of the best tweets here:
