Tonight the IPL war won by Royal Challengers Bangalore beating Mumbai Indians by 15 runs. Finally, RCB won a match after many back-to-back defeats in the ongoing league.
Before the match started at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Royal Challengers Bangalore were asked to bat first as the toss was won by Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai Indians. The players of RCB gave a stunning performance and scored a total of 167 runs.
The first innings started with a bang by the opener Manan Vohra who scored 45 runs in 31 balls. He smashed 4 sixes and 2 fours before he was given LBW by Mayank Markhande. Apart from him, Brendon McCullum scored 37 runs in 25 balls.
The skipper of the team, Virat Kohli scored 32 runs in 26 balls. He smashed 2 fours and 1 six before he was sent back to pavilion by Hardik Pandya, who delivered a stunning shot which landed in the hands of Kieron Pollard after being hit by Kohli.
Hardik Pandya was on fire today, he took three big wickets of RCB team, including the wicket of Virat Kohli.
In the second innings, the RCB players played brilliantly to defend the scores and saved 15 runs at the end of the game.
It was a very disappointing knock by the skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma as he was sent back to pavilion with zero runs in his account and that too on the first ball. Apart from him, Suryakumar Yadav who played brilliantly in the last match scored only 9 runs in 9 balls.
Ishan Kishan, the young player of Mumbai Indians was also sent back with zero runs in his account. JP Duminy scored 23 runs in 29 balls. Krunal Pandya scored 23 runs in 19 balls. On the other hand, his brother Hardik Pandya scored 50 runs and was sent back by Virat Kohli.
Mumbai Indians tried their best but fell short of 15 runs at the end.

#RCB win by 14 runs, end up conceding a six off the last ball but that’s irrelevant.

The bowlers finally coming good collectively for RCB and they win.
Southee very good at the death, Umesh and Siraj were exceptional.
Kohli will be particularly happy that they could defend 35 from the last 3. Much needed win for @RCBTweets #RCBvsMI— Mohammad Kaif (@MohammadKaif) May 1, 2018

#MI will think about the little things that probably cost than the game. Two no-balls and the free hits that followed yielded 26 runs.

Virat Kohli will be delighted by how his Indian quicks have bowled today. Umesh Yadav tilted the match #RCB‘s way and Mohd Siraj has held his own magnificently at the end
