The U19 World Cup has given India many young future stars like Shubhman Gill, Prithvi Shaw, Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Anukul Roy. Ankul Roy finished the tournament as being the leading wicket taker of the tournament.

Anukul Roy, the leading wicket taker said that he credits all his success to MS Dhoni. Anukul finished the tournament with 14 wickets against his name. Anukul narrated how Dhoni has always taught him to be disciplined. He further talked about how MS Dhoni’s advices helped him a lot and how MS Dhoni gave him some viral tips.

“We have not met or spoken after the win. But he knows me so whenever we meet in person, he keeps telling me to stay disciplined. You are bowling well. If you put more body into your deliveries, the chances of bowling short will also go down.

So, that advice helped me a lot and I am bowling less number of short deliveries. So, I am feeling good, I am feeling confident)”

It’s great to see how senior players are always ready to help these youngsters. Earlier Shubhman Gill also talked about how Yuvraj Singh helped him during the camp at NCA. We hope that these young sensations would soon make it big and represent their nation.
