The stadium will be made in the Rajatalab area as per the standards set by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The upcoming stadium will be equipped with cutting-edge facilities and is likely to be constructed in record time.
International Cricket Stadium To Be Constructed By Larsen & Toubro company In Varanasi

As per a report by The Economic Times, the stadium will be operated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). As per a report, the BCCI will assume responsibility for the stadium’s operation and management under a long-term lease agreement. The BCCI will also contribute a fixed annual amount to the government in exchange for the lease.
Talking about the construction, the Larsen & Toubro company has won the order to design and build the upcoming international cricket in the Varanasi city of Uttar Pradesh. This will be the first-ever international cricket stadium in easter UP once finished.
The stadium, which is being built on a wide campus of about 31 acres, will be constructed in an approximate sum of ₹350 crore. The stadium is set to have a capacity of 30,000 people. L&T will also be responsible for building the display scoreboard, flood lights, corporate boxes, practice areas, VIP lounges, press-conferences zone, and office areas.
Talking about the stadium, the UPCA director Yudhvir Singh said people of Kashi will be able to enjoy the cricket matches in the stadium from 2025. He said:
“There is one five-star hotel in Varanasi. Soon, new hotels will be coming up, and some hotels are being expanded,”
