India’s wicketkeeper-batter Wriddhiman Saha, recently created a stir in the cricketing fraternity after he revealed chats with the unnamed journalist in which the latter could be seen threatening the veteran keeper-batter shortly after he was dropped from team India.

Ever since then several cricketers, experts, and fans have come out in support of Saha and urged him to reveal the name of the journalist. However, the 37-year-old has made it clear that he won’t do so as his intention wasn’t to harm anyone’s career.

Well, on Tuesday, Wriddhiman Saha took to Twitter and explained the reason behind why he will not reveal the name of the “journalist” who had sent “threatening” messages to him for saying no to an interview. He wrote:

“I was hurt and offended. I thought not to tolerate such kind of behaviour and didn’t want anyone to go through these kind of bullying. I decided I will go out and expose the chat in public eye, but not his/her name.”

He added: “My nature isn’t such that I will harm anyone to the extent of ending someone’s career. So on grounds of humanity looking at his/her family, I am not exposing the name for the time being. But if any such repetition happens, I will not hold back. I thank each and everyone who has shown support and extended their willingness to help. My gratitude,”

Here, check out the Tweets:

Meanwhile, former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad has come up with a brilliant piece of advice, while replying to Saha’s tweet. In his Tweet, Prasad cited a verse from the Bhagavad Gita, while urging the cricketer to take the name of the journalist. He wrote:

“There is a verse in the Bhagvad Gita which translates to- “Tolerating injustice is as much a crime as committing injustice. It Is Your Duty To Fight Injustice.” It is important for Wriddhiman Saha to name this person. It will definitely set a good example.
