Indian women cricket team’s batter Harmanpreet Kaur played one of the most spectacular innings in the history of One Day International cricket. In the semi-final of ICC Women Cricket World Cup between India and Australia, India batted first and all thanks to Harmanpreet’s marathon innings, posted a huge total of 281 for 4 in 42 overs, as the match was reduced due to inclement weather.

Harmanpreet’s inning is arguably one of the finest ODI innings ever, and certainly the best-ever by an Indian woman in ODI cricket. Kaur’s 171* is now the second highest individual score in ODIs for India, only behind Deepti Sharma’s unbeaten 188 not out against Ireland.

Before the start of the match, cricket pundits across the world had backed Australia as they are a very strong team and they had defeated India in the group match. But, overcoming all odds, Indian women played with a lot of passion and surprised Australia in a big game.

Harmanpreet scored 171* runs off just balls. Kaur smashed 7 big sixes and 20 fours in her innings. The way Harmanpreet batted freely and aggressively was a great spectacle for the fans in the stadium and all those watching the game on their television screen across the world.

The Cricket House uploaded the video of 7 sixes Harmanpreet Karur smashed in her innings and it is an absolute must watch for Indian cricket fans. Kaur has a big backlight and she is a very strong hitter of the cricket ball. Watch it here:
