South Africa’s star batsman AB de Villiers, was at his destructive best during the first ODI between India and South Africa in Kanpur. AB de Villiers scored 104* runs off just 73 balls, including 6 sixes. The wicket at Green Park in Kanpur wasn’t an easy one to bat, but AB de Villiers showed great application and skills to score his 21st ODI hundred and help his team cross the 300 mark (303).
De Villiers has a massive fan-following in India and he got an unbeleivable reception by the Kanpur when he came out to bat in the middle. De Villiers, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), didn’t disappoint his fans and scored a scintilating hundred to entertain the big crowd in Kanpur.
