South Africa’s swashbuckling batsman AB de Villiers played a brilliant knock and helped Barbados Tridents seal their maiden win of the Caribbean Premier League 2016 at Warner Park in St Kitts on Tuesday. With 163 needed to win in 20 overs, AB de Villiers provided the right kind of push to Barbados’ innings by scoring unbeaten 63 runs off just 33 balls. De Villiers did get a reprieve in the 15th over when he was on 33 off 19, but other than this it was a typical AB de Villiers innings; full of flair, elegance and class.
