VIDEO: AB de Villiers played an unbelievable stroke in the fourth ODI

AB de Villiers is one of the best batsmen in the world, across all three formats of the game. His ability to adjust according to the format is his biggest strength. In limited-overs cricket, AB de Villiers is known for his ability  to play unbelievable strokes. He can play 4 different shots on a particular type of delivery and this makes him the most dangerous batsman to bowl. He is also a big headache for captains across the world because it is very difficult to set field when he is batting. On the other hand, in Test cricket, he can bat for many sessions without playing attacking strokes. He can even bat for days and save matches for his team.

In the fourth match of the recently concluded One Day International (ODI) series between New Zealand and South Africa, AB de Villiers batted brilliantly and scored 72 runs off just 59 balls. Throughout his innings, De Villiers played some outrageous strokes and reminded his fans that he has finally made his comeback to international cricket after his injury and now he is ready to once again demolish bowling attacks across the world.

In the fourth ODI, De Villiers played a reverse-scoop of Trent Boult’s blowing and it was the most extraordinary shot of the innings. Boult bowled a slower delivery but De Villiers picked it up and early and reverse-scooped it over wicketkeeper’s head for a four. Watch it here:
