On Day 2, during the game, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was heard using a cuss word for young opener Shubman Gill during the 2nd day of the ongoing 4th Test match in Ahmedabad. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was spotted jokingly cursing at opening batter Shubman Gill.

A video of the incident has been going viral on the internet, where Rohit is heard in the video cursing in Hindi before saying, “Abe Gill…Bak**di Kyu Kar Raha Hai?”

Ashwin gave a much-needed breakthrough

Talking about the ongoing game, in the post-Lunch session, Australia is adding to its 347/4 lunchtime score. Usman Khawaja and Nathan Lyon are currently batting and attempting to put up a partnership. In the post-lunch session, R Ashwin, who also bowled Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc, removed Green from the contest.

Green was by far the most aggressive batsman in the partnership while Khawaja, who opened the Australian innings on Day 1 and started the day with a score of 104 from 251 balls, batted first. The all-rounder produced a stellar show and destroyed the Indian bowlers for 49 runs in just 64 balls. Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, both spinners, grabbed one wicket on the opening day, while Mohammad Shami, claimed two.

India is retaining the BGT Trophy

Talking about the ongoing series, India is retaining the trophy as of now after defeating Australia in the first two Tests and losing the third Test of the 2023 series. If Australia manages to win the last game and the series is drawn, India will retain the trophy as the 2020-2021 series went in favor of the Men in Blue.
