Sledging has now become an inevitable part of the game of cricket. These days, we see verbal-battles, abusive language being used and sometimes players cross the ultimate line by getting into physical-altercations on the field with their opponents. It is true that the game is played with a lot of intensity and fire, but there are certain rules and regulations that players have to follow, no matter what the situation is.

Later, Ahmed Shehzad also made some ‘religious’ comments while the players were walking back to the dressing room in Dambulla, Sri Lanka, Shehzad was caught on camera telling Dilshan “if you are a non-Muslim and you turn Muslim, no matter whatever you do in your life, straight to heaven.”
Dilshan replied, “I don’t like to go to heaven.”
Shehzad ended the conversation with: “Then be ready for the fire.”
