India’s fielding standards have improved a lot in the last 5 years or so. Earlier, India were considered a weak fielding side but now they are one of the best in the world. The likes of Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Ajinkya Rahane, Hardik Pandya are world class fielders and they lift the standard in the field which inspires all the members of the team to contribute.
In the second match of the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series between India and New Zealand, Akshar Patel took a brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss Kiwi’s AP Devcich. Akshar ran backwards and took dived full length to complete a marvellous catch off Jasprit Burma’s bowling. Watch it here:
