The incident occurred on the fourth ball of Avesh Khan’s over when Atharva Taide top-edged a short delivery behind the stumps. Kuldeep Sen, positioned at the short third-man, attempted to take the catch, resulting in the confusion and frustration expressed by Avesh Khan.
Despite wicketkeeper Sanju Samson calling for the catch and running towards the ball, Kuldeep Sen also went for the catch without communicating with his captain. This lack of communication resulted in a minor collision between the two players. Fortunately, Kuldeep managed to hold onto the ball.
