India lost three quick wickets on a good batting wicket in Cuttack, in the second match of the ongoing One Day International (ODI) series between India and England. All eyes were on Kohli when he came out to bat after the fall of KL Rahul’s wicket. Indian fans were hoping that he would carry his form from the first ODI in which he scored a match-winning hundred and anchored a brilliant run-chase.
Kohli came in to bat at number 3 and played a couple of good looking strokes off Chris Woakes’ bowling. Woakes pitched the ball up and Kohli scored two consecutive boundaries. Woakes persisted with the line and finally made Virat Kohli edge one to the second slip, where Ben Stokes took a brilliant catch diving towards his left. It was a good catch as he is a tall man and he had to move his body quickly to take a low catch.
