During the 5th ODI of the ongoing series between England and Pakistan, English all-rounder Ben Stokes got hit where it hurts the most, while batting. Stokes tried to pull a short delivery by Umar Gul but it wasn’t short enough to pull. The ball hit the inside part of Stokes’ bat and hit him straight on the abdominal guard.
As always. the commentators saw the funny side to it but Stokes fell on the ground in pain. It took sometime for him to get up and take his guard again. England Cricket’s official Twitter account uploaded the video with a caption “#Ouch”. Watch it here:
