A very scary moment happened on day 1 of the ongoing fourth Test between India and England when a throw from the deep by India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar, hit umpire Paul Reiffel on the head and he fell down.
Paul Reiffel, 50, was stationed at square leg when the ball thrown by Bhuvneshwar Kumar from deep square leg hit him flush on the back of the head and he fell down on the turf. All the close in fielders gathered towards him and he found difficulty in getting up. Reiffel went off the field to have MTR scan and Marais Erasmus replaced him in the middle. Watch it here:
