Brett Lee is one of the best fast bowlers in the history of the game. In his long playing career, Lee, who is a.k.a Binga, terrorised many great batsmen with his pace, aggression and extraordinary skills. From toe-crushing yorkers to jaw-breaking bouncers, Brett Lee was one of the toughest bowlers to face for any batsman.

Brett Lee has now retired from all forms of cricket. But, his last in Big Bash League 4 (BBL4), which was also the last over of his competitive cricket career, is something that his fans can never forget. With just 8 runs needed to win and with 6 wickets in hand, going into the last over, Perth Scorchers looked like firm favourites against Lee’s Sydney Sixers.

Sydney Sixers’ captain Moises Henriques gave the ball to Brett Lee to try and pull off a miracle. It didn’t start well as Brett Lee was hit for four off a full toss on the very first delivery by Michael Carberry. But Lee didn’t lose hope and kept his side’s hopes alive till the very last ball of the over. Lee bowled a couple of unplayable yorkers and castled two batsmen. In fact, the final ball of the over was also spot on, but Moises Henriques missed a run out chance at the non-striker’s end to deny the Sixers a super over.
