Chris Gayle played scored an unbeaten 54-ball 108 to lead Jamaica Tallawahs to a 7-wicket victory over Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) Twenty20 on Monday. Gayle, who is one of the most destructive batsmen in cricket history, had luck on his side as a couple of half-chances were dropped and once he got out on a no-ball. Gayle smashed 11 sixes and 6 fours in his match-winning innings. Thanks to Chris Gayle’s knock, Tallawahs chased down 192 in 18.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
