David Warner is arguably the best opener across all three formats of the game. In the ongoing Test match between Australia and South Africa, David Warner batted brilliantly on day 1 and scored unbeaten 73 runs off just 62 balls.

Earlier, South Africa were dismissed for 242 runs by the Australian bowlers. Warner came out to bat with Shaun Marsh and batted very aggressively in the final session of the day. In 21 overs, Warner (73*) and Shaun Marsh (29*) added 105 runs and put Australia in a very solid position at the end of day 1.

Warner played many cracking strokes but there was one upper-cut off Dale Steyn’s bowling that stood out. Warner jumped in the air and middle a short-ball by Dale Steyn over third-man boundary. It’s always a difficult shot to play but Warner played it to perfection even after losing his balling and falling on the ground. Watch it here:
