David Warner’s fifty is also the fastest for Australia. Warner took only 23 balls to each his fifty on day 4 of the third Test match against Pakistan. The record for the fastest fifty in Test cricket his held by Pakistan’s Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq, who took just 21 balls to reach his fifty against Australia in Abu Dhabi in 2014. In the same innings, Misbah-ul-Haq also broke the record for the fastest Test hundred in Test cricket history. Misbah scored his hundred off just 40 balls.
