VIDEO: David Warner’s soft dismissal in the first innings of third Test

India vs Australia 2017, Third Test, Ranchi: Australia won the toss and elected to bat first in Ranchi. There were lots of speculations that Ranchi’s pitch will start spinning right from the first session, but on the contrary, the ball didn’t do much in the first session and it was a good pitch to bat on.

Australian opener David Warner and Matt Renshaw scored freely right from the first over and it was all going Australia’s way until David Warner played a lose shot and got dismissed caught and bowled by Ravindra Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled a juicy full-toss but David Warner couldn’t get hold of it and gave a simple catch to Jadeja, who took it easily with both hands.

Warner hasn’t been able to put up a big score in the series so far and this was a good chance for him to turn the things around by scoring big on a good batting pitch in Ranchi. Warner is a class batsman and he has been scoring runs consistently for Australia across all three formats of the game. But his record in India in Test cricket doesn’t do justice to his talent. Watch David Warner’s soft dismissal here:
