RCB captain Faf du Plessis and superstar all-rounder Glenn Maxwell shared a hilarious hug during the RCB vs LSG game.

RCB hosted KL Rahul’s LSG at the Chinnaswamy stadium on Tuesday. LSG, after Faf asked them to bat first, piled up 181 runs courtesy of Quinton de Kock’s 81 and Nicholas Pooran’s blast of 40 (21).

During the LSG innings, Faf du Plessis took a brilliant catch of LSG batsman Ayush Badoni. The young right-handed batter mistimed his cut shot off Yash Dayal’s bowling and it could only fly as much as just beyond the cover position. Faf du Plessis ran behind, backpedalled, kept his eyes on the ball, and took a superb catch by diving to his full length.

Faf lay on the ground after he completed the catch. Glenn Maxwell came running in and got on top of Faf and hugged him hilariously. Both the RCB stars remained on the ground, embracing the hug.

Meanwhile, Maxwell made huge contributions with his spin bowling to RCB by picking the wickets of the LSG captain, KL Rahul, and Marcus Stoinis. RCB are now tasked with chasing 182 to claim their second win of the season.
