Indian batsmen dominated the scene in the second match of the ongoing 5-match One Day International (ODI) series. India have a very strong batting line-up and they took full advantage of the mistakes made by the inexperienced bowling unit of the host nation West Indies.

India’s opening partnership laid the perfect platform and the Virat Kohli, who came at number 3, made full use of the efforts put in by Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan.

Dhawan and Rahane added 114 runs for the first wicket before Dhawan was dismissed by AR Nurse for 63 runs off 59 balls. Rahane, however, batted brilliantly and scored third hundred of his ODI career. Rahane batted for 104 balls and scored 103 runs. The Mumbaikar held one end very solidly and scored at a strike rate of close to 100. In his innings, Rahane smash 2 elegant sixes.

Virat Kohli, India’s most reliable batsman in limited-overs cricket, was the second highest scorer for India in the game. Kohli batted for 66 balls and scored 87 runs. In his innings, Kohli smashed 4 big sixes.
