VIDEO: India vs Zimbabwe 3rd T20 Thrilling Last Over 2016

Deep MehtaBy Deep MehtaUpdated:08/02/2023No Comments1 Min Read

MS Dhoni is generally a calm player on field, but when it comes to tight situations even he can lose his cool. In the last T20I against Zimbabwe, Barindar Sran was bowling the last over. Zimbabwe needed 15 runs off the next 5 balls and Sran bowled a huge wide to bring the equation down to 14 off 5. Next up, the ball slipped out of Sran’s hand, a massive no ball, and the batsman Maruma hit the ball for a four on the off side. That meant the next delivery would be a free hit.  MS Dhoni almost lost his cool. He made a good comeback by bowling a yorker. He followed with another full and wide delivery. Muaruma hit the next one for a single. On the penultimate ball, Chigmbura came down the wicket and edged it but it went for a four behind the wicket. Zimbabwe required 4 off 1 now. The batsman stepped out again but only ended up sending it into the hands of Chahal at mid off.
