When India defeated Australia in the third T20I on Sunday, they became the first team in 140 years to whitewash Australia in their own backyard. It was a much-needed win for India as they looked second best in the ODI series and an ‘Aussie whitewash’ was just the right ironic going into the all-impotant T20, which India will host next month. The match ended in the most thrilling manner, as Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina showed great finishing skills to snatch the victory from the jaws of defeat.
