India registered a very convincing win in the third Test against England and took a 2-0 lead in the ongoing five-match series, with two more matches to go. India outplayed England with bat and ball won the third match in Mohali with 8 wickets.
After a top-order collapse in the first innings, India’s lower-middle order, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Jayant Yadav batted brilliantly and helped India put a good first innings total. India’s first innings total allowed Virat Kohli to set aggressive field and attack the English batsmen for a long period of time.
India were set a target of 103 in the fourth innings and they achieved it very comfortably courtesy a cracking knock from Parthiv Patel. Patel batted brilliantly and scored 67 runs off just 54 balls. His knock made sure that game got over on Day 4. Watch India’s winning moment here:
