Irfan Pathan found no bidders in the Indian Premier League’s auction for the tenth season. The Baroda all-rounder has been working very hard on his fitness and has shown great improvement in his batting and bowling, but he was still ignored by the franchise owners and this has come as a big shock for his fans.
On Thursday, Irfan Pathan uploaded a video of his performances in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017 so far on his Facebook page and it clearly shows that he has worked very hard on his game in the last 10 months or so. Pathan’s biggest strength as a bowler is to swing the ball and you can clearly see in the video that he is swinging the ball both ways at a decent pace. In the batting department, his role is mainly to bat during the later phases of the innings and score quick runs. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2017, Pathan has batted brilliantly so far for Baroda and he is looking a much improved batsman.
Pathan has time and again said that he will keep working hard until he achieves his goal i.e. to make a comeback and represent his country at the international level once again. We hope he keeps fighting and wears the blue jersey once again very soon. Watch the video here:
