India showed a very poor display of fielding in the first innings of the first Test of the ongoing 5-match series between England and India. India are a very good fielding side and they spend a lot of time improving their fielding skills. But in the first innings, Indian fielders were all over the place as they gave so many chances to English batsmen. Many catches were dropped and this allowed England to take a strong hold on the game and put India on the back-foot.
