Ishant Sharma was at his aggressive best on day 4 of the third and final Test of Cricbuzz Cup 2015. Ishant, who picked his seventh five-wicket haul in the first innings, started the second innings in the similar fashion by removing Sri Lanka’s opener Upul Tharanga in the first over and gave him an aggressive send-off by walking down to the batsman and shouting at his face. But the moment of the day came when Ishant Sharma got the prized wicket of Dinesh Chandimal and he celebrated by beating his head in a very funny manner.

Once Virat Kohli took the catch at second slip dismissing Chandimal, Ishant Sharma started beating his head. This was not the first time Ishant was bit animated. While batting earlier Ishant dished out similar antics by saying Dhammika Prasad to hit him on his head.

Ishant Sharma’s head-beating celebration will surely be remembered as one of the funniest celebrations on a cricket field. We are not sure what Ishant was trying to suggest or convey with his ‘head-beating’ celebration but it left all of us laughing. Former Indian captain and a well-known cricket commentator, Sunil Gavaskar made a lot of fun of this celebration in the post-match show.
