VIDEO: Jhulan Goswami’s Unplayable Delivery To Meg Lanning

Jhulan Goswami on Thursday showcased her brilliance by removing Australian captain captain Meg Lanning with an unplayable delivery in the second semi-final of the ongoing 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup at Derby.

After winning the toss, India decided to bat first and posted a total of 281 runs in 42 overs as the match was reduced due to bad weather conditions. In the second innings, Indian bowlers started well by removing the Aussie opener Beth Mooney in the second over of the innings. But the biggest threat for India was Australian captain Meg Lanning, who has a spectacular record and likes performing on big days.

However, it wasn’t her day as India’s ace fast bowler and one of the best fast bowlers in women cricket history, Jhulan Goswami delivered a peach of a delivery to send Lanning back to the pavilion. Jhulan pitched the ball around middle and off stump and moved away late, beating Lanning, who saw the ball crashed onto the off stump. It was a brilliant delivery as Lanning had no answer to the swing Jhulan extracted from the pitch. It’s surely one of the best deliveries of the tournament.
