Kagiso Rabada was banned by the International Council of Cricket after he earned demerit points for using abusive language in the first innings of the ongoing Test match between England and South Africa at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
Kagiso Rabada, who had earlier accumulated three demerit points for his infamous confrontation with Sri Lanka’s Niroshan Dickwella during the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka, said “f**k off” to England’s all-rounder after dismissing him.
Later, he was handed one a match ban by ICC. In the second innings of the ongoing Test, Rabada trapped Stokes right in front of the stumps but, this time, he didn’t say anything t all. In fact, Rabada celebrated the dismissal by rubbing his head before Ben Stokes and then, South Africa’s standing captain Dean Elgar put his hand across fast bowler’s mouth. And, in the end, Rabada himself covered his mouth with his finger, gesturing silence as opposed to what cost him a match in the last innings. Watch it here:
