After getting all-out for 242 in the first innings, South Africa bounced back brilliantly in the game, thanks to their bowling unit.
Australia started well with David Warner and Shaun Marsh forming a 158-run partnership for the first wicket, but the flood gates opened after Dale Steyn dismissed David Warner and the rest of the batters could add only 86 runs after the fall of the first wicket.
Vernon Philander led the attack for South Africa, but he was well supported by Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaja. There were many good deliveries bowled by South African bowlers but the one that took Usman Khawaja’s wicket was the best delivery of the day. It was an absolute jaffa and Khwaja had no answer to it.
Rabada came around the wicket and swung the ball in to Khawaja at over 140 km/h. Khawaja couldn’t bring his bat down as he was beaten by both, pace and swing. Watch it here:
