South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj visited the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on March 21, Thursday, following his arrival at the Lucknow Super Giants camp ahead of the IPL 2024 season. Maharaj joined the LSG camp before the new season to train with the team, especially with the T20 World Cup scheduled for June this year.

Keshav Maharaj Got Emotional After Visiting Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya
After his visit to Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, Keshav Maharaj took to his social media and shared a picture of himself with ‘Ram Lalla’. Sharing pictures of his visit to Ram Mandir, Maharaj wrote: “Jai Shree Raam, blessing to everyone.”

Maharaj had expressed his anticipation for visiting the Ram Mandir earlier this year in an interview with Sports Tak. The spinner, who captained Durban’s Super Giants in SA 20, mentioned that the Lucknow franchise might assist him in the future, making it a pleasant family trip.
“Unfortunately, the schedule didn’t allow me to visit during the inauguration of the temple. But in the future, I would definitely love to go and see the temple in Ayodhya.”
“Fingers crossed. Maybe in the future we can arrange for that. Maybe the Lucknow franchise can help. My family has always wanted to go on pilgrimage to India. So maybe it will be a nice family trip to go across to Ayodhya,” Maharaj had said.
LSG will kick off their IPL 2024 season against Rajasthan Royals on March 24th.
